Rules

2 is high in straights so the highest straight is JQKA2.
Aces and 2s cannot be low A2345 and 23456 are not valid straights.

Alternate Rules

Alternate rules, which we have added to try to spice things up a little.

2 Player

In order to play 2 player, you deal 3 hands, with one card left over. The non-dealing player picks which cards they want, then the dealer picks. The card which is left over is added to the remaining hand, which becomes the draw pile. Now whenever a player passes they are required to pick up a card from the draw pile. Otherwise all the rules are the same.

3 Player

There will be 3 hands of 17 with an extra card left over. All players take their cards, and the player with the 3 of diamonds gets the extra card. All other rules are the same.
